Using a grounding form, we explored how the depth of a space can proportionally relate to the programming and amount of time spent in each location. The form guides circulation and responds to how users interact within the space. We have created a tangible path that serves a multitude of programmatic uses, while silently communicating a flow in which to move. The inserted volume strategically interacts with the three levels of the building.

The form acts as a light installation on the lower level;

a program divider on the ground level;

and flooring inlay on the upper level.

With a focus on interaction, this creative space features a variety of transformative design elements that respond to the needs of the user, creating a functional and adaptable workspace
